Instructions for Aikido's Katatori Ikkyo (Defense Against A Shoulder or Lapel Grab)
This page provides students with instructions for the Aikido Katatori Ikkyo technique. This technique is also known as Kata-Dori Ikkyo.
This technique is a basic Ikkyo defense against an opponent who has grabbed you by your shoulder or lapel.
