Bo Staff - Groin Strike and Self-Defense

This page provides details on how to use a Bo Staff in a self-defense situation against an opponent with a knife. This Hapkido video focuses on striking an assailant in the groin, locking his arm and removing his knife.

However, be aware that combat against an opponent armed with a knife or gun is extremely dangerous and should only be used as a last resort. Consider other options first (i.e. run away from danger).
