Butt Kicks – Warm-Up Exercise
This page provides details for a warm-up exercise known as “Butt Kicks”. This warm-up exercise is used by martial arts students in order to warm up their legs and to stretch their calves and hamstrings. It is also a good dynamic stretch.

Written Instructions for Butt Kicks
- In this exercise, you run forward at a modest pace or jog in place.
- As you run, you try to touch (kick) your glutes (butt) with the heel of your feet.
