Crow Pose - Yoga for Martial Arts Flexibility & Strength

This page provides details for the Crow Pose. This advanced Yoga exercise is used by martial arts students in order to stretch their groin, hip flexors, etc. The Crow Pose is also an excellent strength training exercise for increasing a martial artist's upper body and core strength. The flexibility and balance required for this challenging Yoga pose will also impress your fellow martial arts students!

The Crow Pose is sometime called the Crane Pose. This Yoga exercise is seen as an introductory stage in order to achieve the more advanced Firefly Pose.

All stretches and exercises should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized.
