Flutter Kicks - A Warm-Up Exercise for Martial Arts Students

This page provides details for a warm-up exercise known as Flutter Kicks. In this exercise, you lie on your back, place your hands under your glutes, raise your legs off the ground and kick. This warm-up exercise is used by martial arts students in order to warm up their legs and strengthen their abs.

All warm-up exercises should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized.
