Learn Karate's Fumikomi or Stomp Kick

This page will help you learn the Karate Fumikomi (Fumikomi Geri) or "Stomp or Stomping Kick". For additional Karate kicking techniques, visit our main Karate Kicks page.

A Karate stomping kick is used to target an opponent's knee, thigh, foot or even body if the opponent has been knocked to the ground. An example of the Karate stomping kick is if an opponent has you in a bear hug and you stomp on his foot.

For instructions on different kicks used by other martial arts styles, please visit our main Kicking Techniques page.
