Groin grab (and pull)

This is another way to attack the vital point of the groin in a self defense situation. This is most likely use on males due to the fact that they have external reproductive organs.

Technique

  • Unlike the kick to the groin this is a secondary (like the punch to the groin) technique rather than a primary strike
  • Also due to clothing coverage this technique would be best utilized while the male is wearing undergarments or nothing in a setting such as a locker room or an unfortunate rape scenario
  • To perform this move one hand shoots out below the groin with the palm facing upwards and grabbing it
  • Then that same hand pulls on the groin as hard as possible while the other hand strikes out with the knife edge of the hand just above the groin
    • This is seen very nicely in the last two moves of the Shotokan Kata Heian Go

Note: This is an extremely damaging technique and should be practiced and used with caution
