Hammer Fist – Krav Maga Technique

This page provides details about the Krav Maga hammer fist technique. This technique is often used to protect a fist because the martial artists is hitting with the “padded” side of the fist (near the pinky finger). A hammer fist is also used when it is difficult to bring an arm back for a powerful punch (i.e. when grappling). For more techniques (i.e. punches & kicks), please visit Black Belt Wiki’s main Krav Maga Techniques section.
