List of Iaido Jo Kata

In Seito Iaido, students also practice Jo (staff) kata as well as kata that use an Iaito (blunted metal sword). For Iaido katas that use a Bokken or Iaito, please visit the main Iaido katas section.

Grading to:
4th Kyu - 1-4 Stances
3rd Kyu - 1-8 Stances, Kata 1
2nd Kyu - 1-12 Stances, Katas 1,2

For Jo katas, you are required to know both the Jo and the Bokken steps.
