Instructions for Heian Nidan - International Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu Kata

This page will help you to learn the International Hayashi-Ha Shito-Ryu Kata - Heian Nidan (also known as Pinan Nidan). For additional Shito-Ryu Karate katas, please visit the main Shito-Ryu Karate Katas page.

  • Musubi Dachi
  • Heiko Dachi
  • Turning 90 degrees left, left foot forward neko ashi dachi tettsui uchi
  • Stepping forward with right foot, zenkutsu dachi oizuki
  • Turning 180 degrees right, right foot forward zenkutsu dachi gedan barai, tettsui uchi
  • Stepping forward with left foot, zenkutsu dachi oizuki
  • Turning 90 degrees left, left foot forward zenkutsu dachi gedan barai
  • Stepping forward with right foot, zenkutsu dachi age uke
  • Stepping forward with left foot, zenkutsu dachi age uke
  • Stepping forward with right foot, zenkutsu dachi age uke KIAI
  • Turning 225 degrees left, left foot forward zenkutsu dachi gedan barai
  • Stepping forward with right foot, zenkutsu dachi oizuki
  • Turning 90 degrees right, right foot forward zenkutsu dachi gedan barai
  • Stepping forward with left foot, zenkutsu dachi oizuki
  • Turning 45 degrees left, left foot forward zenkutsu dachi gedan barai
