Ip Man - Highly Popular Martial Arts Movie

Ip Man is a 2008 martial arts movie loosely based on the life of Bruce Lee's master, Yip Man. The movie focuses on the hero's use of Wing Chun to fight against Japanese occupiers of Foshan, China. Given the popularity of this movie, there have been a number of sequels including Ip Man 2 and Ip Man 3.

The movie review website, Rotten Tomatoes, gives Ip Man a score of 84 out of 100. Rotten Tomatoes also make the following comment about the movie: "At once beholden to the established conventions of the genre and delightfully subversive of them, Ip Man is one of the most exciting — and refreshingly character-driven — martial arts films in years."
