Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple - Martial Arts Anime

This is a Japanese anime show that focuses on Kenichi a 16 year old student that is bullied at school (even in the school's karate club). He befriends a transfer student who lives at a Dojo that is home to various martial arts masters. She teaches him how to move and avoid a fight allowing him to defeat a bully. He then trains at the Dojo under the different masters (Karate, Muay Thai, Jujutsu, Chinese Kenpo, Weapons) for self defense against bullies and a fighting gang that starts targeting him. He uses his skills to fight these gang members (Boxing, Taekwando ect.) and uses deep martial arts philosophies to impact the lives of those that he beat.
