Instructions for Kyokushin Kata - Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ni

This kata is very similar to Kyokushin Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ichi. Main differences are two of the Karate kicks used in the kata. In Sokugi Taikyoku Sono Ni, students use a front snap kick (versus an axe kick in Ichi) and a high side kick (versus a low side kick in Ichi).

  • Ready position
  • Turn left 90 degrees, high side kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Turn 180 degrees, high side kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Turn left 90 degrees, high side kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance, yell Kiai
  • Turn 270 degrees, high side kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Turn 180 degrees, high side kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Turn left 90 degrees, high side kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance
  • Front snap kick landing in a front stance, yell Kiai
