Instructions for Long Arm Crunches - Martial Arts Core Strength Exercise
This page will teach you how to do Long Arm Crunches. This advanced crunch is a great martial arts exercise in order to build up your core strength. This will improve your rotational "torquing" power and thus help your martial arts kicking power, punching power and grappling techniques.
In this core exercise, you will keep your arms extended in order to add weight to your crunch. This makes the crunch more intense and gives you a greater core workout.
All stretches and exercises should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized. For more exercises, please visit the main Martial Arts Strength Training page.
