Learn Matayoshi's Bo Kata - Shushi No Kon (Bo Staff Kata)

Here are instructions and videos for Matayoshi's Bo Kata - Shushi No Kon (or Suishi No Kon). This Karate kata uses the traditional martial arts weapon known as a Bo or Bo staff.

Bo katas practice offensive and defensive staff techniques in a specified pattern of steps and movements. These katas are often training tools for higher level Karate students.
