Pulse Ups - Martial Arts Core Strength Exercise

This page will teach you how to do "Pulse Ups". This core exercise will work your low back and abdominal muscles. In turn, this will improve your rotational power and thus lead to stronger martial arts kicks and punches.

All stretches and exercises should be supervised by a trained instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized. For more exercises, please visit the main Martial Arts Strength Training page.
