Tuifa Jutsu Kata

This page provides details for the Ryu Kon Kai kata known as Tuifa Jutsu. This kata uses the martial arts weapon known as the Tuifa or alternative spelling Tonfa. For more details about this weapon, please visit the Tonfa page.

The Tuifa/Tonfa weapons kata is a requirement for higher level Kyu grading. Whilst you may learn the basic kata pattern it takes a bit more to become proficient with the weapon.

In some countries/states, you may be required to hold a permit to use or own this weapon (similarly to owning or using Nunchaku).
