Sai - Warm Ups

This section / video goes over a couple of warm ups that can be done with a pair of sai.

Push Ups
done elbows in while holding the sai in the primary grip
Sit Ups
flicking the sai out, around the head, for a slash like strike followed by a thrust with the tip
Squats
after each squat lift one leg and flick the sai out from primary to secondary with a low block on the side of the raised leg
  • These are just a few examples, be creative and impliment sai blocks, strikes, flips and so on into other common exercises
