Learn How Eye Gouges Are Used In Self-Defense

This page provides the details of the self-defense technique known as eye gouges. This technique is an effective self-defense weapon for close combat or if you are trapped by a stronger opponent.

Many of these self-defense targets (i.e. groin or eyes) are illegal in martial arts sparring competitions. However, they are useful in self-defense situations (i.e. rape prevention). These attacks on vital areas should only be used in life or death situations as you can severely injure your opponent.

For other self-defense techniques against vital points (i.e. groin), please visit the main Vital Points section.
