Seven Samurai - One of the Best Samurai Movies Ever Made

"Seven Samurai" is a highly rated 1954 Japanese martial arts movie. This page allows you to watch the full movie for free via Hulu (but with Hulu ads).

The plot revolves around a poor village that hires seven samurai to defend them against hundreds of bandits. The American cowboy movie "The Magnificent Seven" with Yul Brenner was based on this Japanese movie.

This movie received a perfect rating of 100% from Rotten Tomatoes, the movie review website. According to Rotten Tomatoes, "Arguably Akira Kurosawa's masterpiece, The Seven Samurai is an epic adventure classic with an engrossing story, memorable characters, and stunning action sequences that make it one of the most influential films ever made."
