Torso Twists - A Warm-Up Exercise for Martial Arts Students
This page provides details for a warm-up exercise known as Torso Twists (or Trunk Twists, Oblique Twists, etc.). This warm-up exercise is used by martial arts students in order to warm up their core muscles (i.e. abs, obliques and back).
All stretches and exercises should be supervised by a trained martial arts instructor in order to prevent injuries and to ensure the proper technique is utilized.
