Triceps Pushdowns - Upper Body Strength Exercise

This page will teach you how to do Triceps Pushdowns. This exercise will improve your upper body strength and thus will help you to generate stronger punches and grappling techniques. This exercise works primarily on the triceps muscles (the muscles on the back of your arm). Secondarily, this exercise helps to develop the strength in your biceps and forearms. This triceps exercise is also known as the Triceps Press Down.

Other triceps exercises include triangle push-ups, triceps kickbacks, dips, etc.

All stretches and exercises should be supervised by a trained martial arts instructor to ensure the proper technique is being utilized and to avoid potential injuries. For additional exercises, please visit the main Upper Body Exercises or Strength Training sections.
