This page provides details on how to do Ura Ushiro Mawashi Geri or Spinning Heel Kick. This Karate kick is also known as a spinning hook kick, spinning wheel kick, etc. In Japanese, it is also known as Ushiro Ura Mawashi Geri.

This is not a traditional kick in many Karate schools. Nevertheless, this is a powerful kick given the momentum behind the spin and the hard bone of the heel. It is used for knockouts in Kyokushin tournaments.
