Women's Self-Defense - Defense Against Grabs

This section focuses on women's self-defense techniques that are used if your wrist, shirt or hair has been grabbed by an attacker. These techniques are designed to help women to deal with potentially dangerous situations (such as muggings, rape scenarios, bullying, spousal abuse, etc.).

Most women should focus on techniques that allow them to escape a situation versus trying to overpower a possibly much larger, stronger and usually male attacker. These techniques must be practiced frequently and under the supervision of a trained instructor in order to be effective. Moreover, please try to avoid dangerous situations where you might be attacked (i.e. walking home drunk at night in an isolated area).
