Yumi - Japanese Bow
Yumi is the bow used in Japanese martial arts such as Kyudo, and as a part of most Bujutsu and Ninjutsu Ryu in the form of Kyujutsu.The Yumi differs from the conventional western bow in the fact that it is asymmetrical and has a higher top part of the bow and lower bottom end. The Bow was along with the Katana one of the primary weapons of the Samurai as such Kyujutsu was a key part of most Bujutsu Ryu.
