List of Knee Bars – Grappling & Joint Lock Techniques
This section focuses on knee bars as a joint lock and grappling technique. A knee bar is used for controlling an opponent and/or as a submission technique. These techniques puts pressure on the knee by pushing or pulling it into an unnatural position (i.e. hyperextending the knee). Knee bars are used extensively in grappling martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts and Sambo.
